D1PW Returns to Davie, Florida on Saturday, March 3, 2007. D1PW is on of Florida's fastest growing promotions. This is due to bringing quality wrestling back to South Florida and this show is no exception.
Jake "The Snake" Roberts will be making his D1PW debut and Amy Vitale already has a plan for revenge. Back in October, at MXPW's Autumn Armageddon, Jake Roberts was attacked by Amy Vitale's Heartbreak Express. Jake ended up catching Amy in the center of the ring and placed the snake upon her. She has vowed to make Roberts pay for humiliating her.
D1PW Champion "The Marquee" Bruce Santee has been leaving piles of beaten opponents all over the state of Florida. D1PW has been having a hard time trying to secure an opponent for The Marquee at this event. Well, that was until the office received a phone call from a familiar sounding voice last night. This person promised to be in Davie on March 3 and will reveal themselves that night.
D1PW's tag team division is far from short on talent as it features the best tag teams in the state of Florida. Over the past six months the Black Market has established themselves as the leader of the pack with impressive wins over the Cash Money Brothers and The Lifeguards. The Cash Money Brothers have been on a losing streak here in D1PW as they have lost to Black Market, The Lifeguards and The Heartbreak Express but their losing streak has to come to an end. The Lifeguards have been making a name for themselves all over the state scoring major wins and picking up titles along the way but have not been successful against the Black Market. The Heartbreak Express and Black Market feud has gone up and down the coast of Florida and was supposed to be the main event of the first show but a European Tour for HBX has kept the two teams from tangling in D1PW. This is going to be one for the ages.
Last show Kenny King defeated David Mercury to advance to the finals of of the title tournament. Just as Kenny was about to come out to face Bruce Santee he was attacked by David Mercury, which led to Kenny tapping out. Kenny was immediately granted a rematch for this show but passed on the title shot to face Mercury in a submission match.
Another match that was decided at the last show is the grudge tag team match between the Vandalz and the team of Maximum Capacity and his manager Fabulous Frank. At the last show Maximum Capacity defeated Tommy Vandal but after the match both brothers managed to fight off Maximum Capacity. Max, being much larger than both Vandalz together, issued the challenge and Tommy and Johnny accepted.
Jaison Moore has been on quite a roll since entering D1PW, going undefeated thus far in his matches. Another undefeated cruiserweight in Division-1 is Craig Classic. Jaison Moore is out to prove he is the top cruiser in D1PW but that does not sit well with Classic, who has been in Japan for the past few months. Craig Classic promises that after March 3, he will be the only
remaining undefeated cruiserweight in D1PW.
