1. BJW Death Match Title, Glass & Fire Coffin Cremation Death Match: Mitsuhiro Matsunaga beat Mr. Pogo (c) (9:06) with a W*ING-Style Sleeper Hold.
on tape? I have never been able to find it.
I have almost every other BJW DM Title change, but have never seen this one... just curious.

That's the first match from the finals of the 98 KOTDM from 8/9/98, the 8/23/98 match I'm looking for is the rematch that Mastunaga wins so I can bridge the gap between the Pogo win on 8/9/98 and when Shadow WX wins the title from Matsunaga on 9/23/98. |

That match has only been clipped on Samurai TV News. Jeff Lynch used to have it, and I emailed him recently, and he told me that, since nobody was interested in those, he basically dumped all of them. I would have definetly bought all of them!
Am I right in still hoping to see the 10/31/98 Honma vs WX? That unseen match has developed a myth around it.

It really has, and at this point probably wouldn't live up to it's mythic status, but I'm still dying to see it. I LOVE their 7/98, 10/99, and 4/00 matches. |
