Like I said over on SSS, Miyamoto does not deserve a title shot, not when Kasai is being held down the way he is.

I think lightubes are totally identified to BJW now, same as FMW with Time Bomb Electrified Barbed Wire Matches and W*ING's Barbed Wire Baseball Bat. Moreover, their multi-tag main events are very good matches with lots of action in which building BJW's own fame of matches. It has given an aura of ''genre''.
Also, it has become a magnificent way to give some crediblity of toughness to some younger guys. It develops wrestlers towards the style and at the same time, pushes them to the main events. (I.E. Yuko Miyamoto, Honma in 99, Ito in 03, etc.)
Miyamoto might not deserve a title shot indeed but his match, which will probably be awesome, will give him an opportunity to get a name for himself for the next years,. If he does good, he could become an ace for the company in a year.

And I loved Miyamoto's push as the new rising deathmatch star. They've been building up for this match for months now, and I think it will be great. I see enormous potential in Miyamoto, he'll be one of the top deathmatch guys in the near future.

Miyamoto came out of no where 8 months ago, And all of a sudden he is getting title shots? Give me a break, They were doing fine without trying to push a single star. When Ito got hurt it was the best possible thing for Big Japan as they finally moved away from the fact that he was the ace of the promotion. Now they are pushing Miyamoto as the new ace, and what for?
Kasai has been held down for 7 years, Why do you think he left once before? He was the guy who should have been put in Ito's position, He deserves the title shot much more then Miyamoto, and the best part about it , is that it would be beleivable, Miyamoto is not going to win the match, everyone knows that they are going to do Ito/Sasaki and have Ito come out victorious.
Big Japans booking is getting worse and worse, Kasai should have been in that match, and they should put the belt on him, then have Kasai and Numazawa fued over the belt. Its ridiculous how as soon as Miyamoto comes along , guys like Kobayashi, Kasai, Numazawa, Sekimoto, and even Sasaki for that matter have been pushed down.

Miyamoto doesn't get title shots "all of a sudden", as I said before, they're building up this match for months now. If they gave Kasai a shot now, that would be "all of a sudden" 2. Ito is still the ace, as he will continue to be after his return. Miyamoto is not pushed as the "new ace", he's portrayed as the rising star. 3. Kasai hasn't been "held down for 7 years", and he didn't leave because of that, but because BJW was close to dying in 2002. He returned in 2005 and has been a main eventer since then. 4. Kasai will get the title sooner or later 5. I don't think they'll book Ito-Sasaki pt.3 anytime soon, and if they do, Sasaki will propably win 6. Kobayashi, Kasai, Numazawa, Sekimoto and Sasaki were in no way "pushed down". Miyamoto got put over by pinning Masada and WX.

We tried explaining this to him at SSS, but he doesn't seem to get it or really doesn't care.

Sasaki vs. Kasai at the end of the year so they don't waste a big match already.

I understand what everyone is saying, But I dont get what is so special about Miyamoto, I mean how does he propel himself from no where to main eventer? What about Pondo? What about Kobayashi? No one can tell me that Kobayashi has not been pushed down the card since losing the belt, and the retarted thing about it is that the fans were totally behind him.

I haven't been watching long enough to comment on things beyond the happenings of the last few months, but I will say that I've really enjoyed the build to Sasaki/Miyamoto. Even if he's destined to lose, I'm sure the two of them can put on a really good match and giving one of the younger guys a rub once in a while really can't hurt in my opinion, even if Miyamoto gets shuffled back down the card a little bit.
As DMD said, if Kasai was in this match, that would be random. I don't think spending a few months building a potential future star is going to do any harm to Kasai, Numazawa or any of the other wrestlers at the top of the promotion. That's really the problem, actually, is that there are so many guys that are big stars and past main eventers that the top is very crowded, especially with Ito's return.
I'm mostly interested in who the next challenger will be: after the Miyamoto defence there will be some closure there. I do suspect that the next challenger will be an established BJW star. They could go with the proven ace in Ito, although I think holding off on that match until later in Sasaki's reign, or after Sasaki's lost the belt to someone else, would be even better. I am hoping that the next big match will be Sasaki/Kasai. Numazawa/Sasaki had some great matches in 2006, but they've had enough recent encounters that some time apart would probably be better.

Yea i agree with you don. I want to see Kasai on top. The man will do ANYTHING in a match to make the fans leave happy. I dont know, I got kind of sick of Ito towards the end of his run. You can only see so many splashes on light tubes.
