Seriously, can anybody answer this question...what's with all of the lighttube matches as of late?
Doesn't this fed know of any other stipulations? It seems like all they do nowadays are Fluorescent Lighttubes Death Match. Month after month after month...I know I sound like a whining bitch but, personally I am so sick of six man Lighttube deathmatches. Change it up a little bit for christ's sake!

yeah i know what you mean, it seems like since 2004, 95% of deathmatches have featured light tubes.
i wouldnt mind seeing some old school matches like coffin matches, barbed wire bat scamble matches and plate glass matches etc.

Big Japan is a death match fed, And lightube death matches are as common as over booking in tna under vince russo, I for one like the death matches that feature light tubes, because every single one is different, they never come off the same. With that said I would like to see some old school BJW matches come back.

i would love them to do an old fashioned exploding ring time bomb match, imagine if they did that at korakuen hall. the place would probably blow up itself. ;D

I wouldn't mind seeing some beds of nails again, or some barefoot thumbtack matches.
The lighttube matches are always good, but a little overdone nowadays.

I think they're doing it to make the actual matches more important than the gimmicks involved. If they made the same match lets say as a piranha deathmatch, everybody would be like "OMFG they're bookin a piranha match!!". Instead you look at the card and think "Hey, I'm curious how the Sasaki vs. Miyamoto feud will develop" or something like that.

Light tubes are a staple of BJW, but it would be nice if they included more stips along with the tubes...
Like a NRBW light tube ropes match, or a 200 light tubes barefoot thumbtack match.
Either way BJW deathmatches are some of the best out there anyway

Which is a shame, but makes sense. A. They cannot do that kind of match a Korakuen Hall where they run most of their big shows, I don't even know if it would work at Yokohoma. Maybe at one of the outside shows... B. That kind of match is really associated with the old FMW, and Onita in Japan. And I think BJW wants to set themselves apart. C. Honestly that kind of match costs a LOT of money. Much cheapper just to give the guys a couple hundred tubes to work with.

Yokohama Bunk Gym had the Kasai vs. Yamakawa - Landmine Boards Russian Roulette match.

the light tube matches are getting out of control... they've thrown in a few fire matches here and there but they need to do other stips...

The light tubes are tipical in death match, but they don't use only light tubes, in the last month of 2006 there is Fire Death Match, School Of Madnass Death match, and a Shrine death match for the Death Match Title in December
