i love bjw, cos they are the last "garbage" promotion from the big four who are still going. no one carries on the deathmatch tradition anymore except them. guys like ito, kasai, shadow wx, yamakawa etc are gonna be legends for sure.

I love Big Japan because not only do we get the sick shit but they also put on some of the best wrestling around too, And whenever I watch BJW I get this nostalgic feeling that I dont get with any other promotion nowadays.

the death matches are always wild wild mathes... there matches have crowds on the edge of there seats... the workers have mixed death match bumps into actual matches rather than just bump after bump... the action is back and forth... and everytime i watch death match wars it reminds me that the best death match wrestling in the world comes from BJW ;D

I love Big Japan becuase I love death match wrestling, having watched FMW when I was younger and then falling for BJPW, but mostly Jun Kasai.

Amen. That and BJW is (since 04 at least) one of the best booked promotions in Japan. The storylines are simple and entertaining, the matches usually have clean decisive finishes (unlike the CZW era...) and like you said wonton bloodshed and GREAT wrestling. I love me some NOAH, but in past 2 years BJW has been the better promotion.

I love Big Japan, because they don't just hit each other with weapons for a half an hour. They do wrestling moves and incorporate the weapons into those moves. The craziest stipulations and spots that I have seen are in Big Japan. I always enjoy watching them cause you can never predict what is going to happen in a match and they are always entertaining.

It's just the right mix of wrestling skill, workrate and deathmatch insanity that makes BJW great. It's not "violence for the sake of violence", instead you have feuds and deathmatches that tell a story. I think that's also the reason they don't do those crazy gimmick matches anymore.

That's very true but when they did that back in 1995 and 1996, it was pretty much "violence for the sake to top FMW" which they did later on with Homna, Shadow WX, Winger and Yamakawa when FMW made a dumb decision with letting Fuyuki do the booking which made them go from a promotion that 36,000 people showed up to the 5/5 shows to Kouraken Hall every month with not many people there.

BJW fucking kicks ass, need I say more? They have a roster filled with talented guys who give their soul to put on a GREAT show. I almost see nothing I dislike about BJW.
Except maybe Katsumasa Inoue being pushed to the moon, but one can dream!

Kyoko Kimura, isami, light tubes, chains, running big boots, Ryuji Ito, and the jerking off motion that one guy does.
