Drake beat Madman Pondo, 2 Tuff Tony, Ian Rotten, Diehard and Mickie Knuckles to become the first IWA-MS deathmatch champion in a 6 man DM rumble.
He currently holds the CZW UltraViolentUnderground,F.U.C.K and IWA-MS DM titles!

I didn't think they'd make him the champ since he already held the deathmatch belt of another company, but good for Drake, and good for deathmatch wrestling in the US.

nice to see iwa mid south getting a title for there death match guys... should lead to them having something to aim for instead of random death matches throughout the year

The only problem with IWA-MS is they only do deathmatches in Indiana cuz the Chicago fans don't like deathmathes, but at least they have a DM title now.

They don't ONLY do them in Indiana, just that they almost never do them in Chicago. About 3-5 times a year, there will be a DM in Mildo/Steamwood. Last year there were at least 2 NRBW matches, a barbed-wire board match, and a barbedwire board/bat/light-tube match.
However, Plainfield, IN usually gets one or two DM's a show... I love living only an hour from Plainfield. Haven't missed a show since April last year.

Yeah, it's so awesome that I live in Indiana. Though I haven't gone yet, I hope to go to a show in the near future. I've been hearing a lot of good shit about the IWA lately. A while back, I had a chance to go to a fans bring the weapons deathmatch. Passed it up to go eat at some fancy restaurant (Chuck E. Cheese?) I'm an idiot.

I'll be making a 6 or 7 hour trip in june to see the IWA-MS KOTDM in Indiana.
I really think Drake is gonna win the tournament this year, cuz his momentum keeps building and building.

well each state has thier own punishments, but coke offenses are a pretty big deal here.
I'd Imagine he'll get some jail time and definatly probation, which means he won't be able to leave the state of Kentucy, and IWA-MS doesn't do shows in Kentucy anymore.
