I personally think that it's impossible to cannot stand Mr. Pogo and Daisuke Sekimoto. Masayoshi Motegi, Crazy Sheik, Bancho Matsuzaki were pretty dull to watch back in the days. Benkei and Taguchi are probably the worst ones to watch from these days.

I'll keep the echo going in here, I hate Benkei and Taniguchi. Total fastforward material, both of them. Luckily, they're almost always together, so it's only one match I have to skip.
I feel more sorry for Hyoma/Imai than I dislike him. He has some potential but can never make a go of it.

The deathmatch wrestlers i can't stand are Kanemura and Hido. Not only does pretty much everyone in BJW do either something insanely sick or they go bareback. Now i know I'm going to get A LOT of heat for saying that ("You still get fucking cut you don't have the balls to do it that fuck you troll" or my personal favorite, "Oh what are you gay you wanna see the wrestlers without shirts") It's like because they came from FMW they have they think they are something special. It's like former "Big 3" wrestlers working the indies. Because AT ONE TIME they were big news, they don't have to go all out like everyone else and just half ass it because "hey I've already established myself and i don't need to go out there and kill myself to get over because I'm already over". I'm not saying anyone who comes from FMW or any big fed in America when they go to the indies or a "lesser" promotion in Japan will automatically suck. I'm saying "the name" will get you booked for the first time, but I believe it shouldn't be why they continue to get booked. So what I'm saying is I've seen a good amount of BJPW and i have yet to once be wowed by either of these two. Actually most of the time I am wowing, but its due to how much they are dragging the match down. They don't take anything sick. There offense isn't even remotely stiff and they both wear shirts. Now again don't flame me for my opinion on shirts, but i believe if you consider yourself a deathmatch wrestler, you take your fucking shirt off. You don't see Ito wearing a shirt in every match. Nor do you Kasai, Sekitmoto, Numazawa, Sasaki, the list goes on. Now people like that are what make you buy tapes. They are what make you jump out of your seat in amazement and you ask yourself how he is even alive after such a thing, NOT people who want to live off past glory and go out there and fucking half ass it. Big Japan is known for the sickest deathmatches imaginable day in and day out and I don't believe they belong.
Take this for what you want but again, if you think I'm some dumb mark or whatever because of the shirt comment, PLEASE don't make 20 posts about how dumb I am. And to administrators, DON'T BAN ME. Because unlike czwfans i actually like this board and i don't want to get banned every other week for stating my opinion and saying people who wear shirts shouldn't be doing deathmatches. Thank You

Kanemura and Hido are legends, both started doing deathmatches in the early 90s and it's obvious that they can't keep up with all the younger guys due to their broken bodies. When they started working for BJW back in '02 they were doing better, I recommend Hido vs. Yamakawa 08/04/02 thumbtacks match and Kanemura vs. Hido 03/03/02 lighttubes match. And you also overlook the fact that both are really good workers. Kanemura proved that in lots of great six man tags last year, and Hido is great as a heel. BJW deathmatches are not just about taking your shirt off, bathing in glass and covering yourself in blood, there's more to it.

No one I can't stand since I don't really watch full shows (I have avoided the pain of Benkei and Taniguchi), but I do find Imai/Hyoma pretty annoying occasionally.

I pretty much apreciate everyone in BJW, they all do what they are supposed to do.
I personnaly like deathmatches more than traditional or highflying but I still apreciate all kinds of wrestling.
Crazy Shiek was one of the only BJW guys I have ever hated.
If a match is dragging I skip to the next match, but it doesn't make me hate the workers for it. Everybody has a bad match sometime.

Wow, I totally forgot about Mike Samples. This guy really sucked. You forgot it for the reason you said ;D Well, Hido and Kanemura still can do some good things for sure. At least they've much expirience, so for the company can be very "usefull". Anyway, it's your opinion . I liked them in FMW and I still like them now too

Otherwise you look like a pussy.
